PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Kramer (ranked 157 p4p, 102 weight class) and Ernesto Valerio (ranked 29 p4p, 18 weight class). Valerio is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by God is a DJ - Faithless. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Kramer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ernesto Valerio!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valerio ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kramer moves away.
Kramer tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Valerio manages to circle out of the way.
Kramer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Valerio.
Kramer tries to counter with a takedown but Valerio is quick to defend against it.
Kramer fails in his attempt to clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Kramer has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Valerio will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

That was a close round but I would say that Jon Kramer will probably get the nod.

Kramer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kramer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
