Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Rose (ranked 187 p4p, 80 weight class) and Nick Durling (ranked 21 p4p, 13 weight class). Rose kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Raining Blood. Durling has chosen BABYMETAL - KARATE as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thomas Rose! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Durling! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Durling throws a body shot but no joy. Rose is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Durling. Durling misses with a straight left. Rose swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Durling works Rose's body with a nice hook. Durling throws an off balance right hand
and Rose counters with a lovely straight right hand!
 It looks like Nick Durling has been cut. Durling tests Rose's chin there with a solid looking shot.
 It looks like Thomas Rose has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Durling scores with a hook to the body. Rose takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Rose moves out of range as Durling strikes. Rose wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Rose keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Durling. Durling scores with a decent looking hook. Rose misses with a hook to the body
letting Durling counter with a right hand.
 Thomas Rose's cut is getting worse. Rose moves out of range of the strikes. A quick step to the side and Rose tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Durling cracks Rose with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Durling has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rose to stand back up!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Durling throws a hook to the side of Rose's head but Rose sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Rose is looking to counter with a body kick. Durling fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. A head kick misses from Rose. Durling misses with an uppercut. Rose saw that one coming. Jab by Durling.
 Jeez, Thomas Rose's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Thomas Rose's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Nick Durling! Nick Durling decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
