The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai Jr misses with a looping left.
Chai Jr scores with a nice right hand.

Akimbo Spice Chai Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Handerson throws a sloppy body shot
and Chai Jr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Chai Jr pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Chai Jr looks to score with a jab to the body but Handerson is just out of range.
Handerson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chai Jr manages to avoid it.
Handerson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Handerson is putting a hurting on Chai Jr here, landing some big shots from side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Handerson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Chai Jr rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Handerson's guard! Nice work there by Chai Jr!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Handerson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chai Jr defends well.

Handerson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Chai Jr rolls with it to try and escape but Handerson cranks on the arm and Chai Jr is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
