The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson lands a leg kick that knocks Lightning off balance momentarily.

Lightning is looking to clinch but Davidson is avoiding it.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Davidson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Davidson.

Lightning is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lightning isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Davidson stacks Lightning on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Davidson!
You can see the frustration on Lightning's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Lightning sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Davidson is trying to control the action in half guard but Lightning is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Cecirio Lightning has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Lightning working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Davidson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lightning is tightening it up a little... Davidson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Davidson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Davidson taps out! Nice BJJ there by Lightning!
