Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ludwig Boltzmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Cozad!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping body kick lands there for Cozad.
Boltzmann throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Boltzmann takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Boltzmann lands with a shot to the body.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Boltzmann.
Cozad lands a right hook to the body.
Boltzmann listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Ludwig Boltzmann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cozad moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Ludwig Boltzmann has been cut.
Cozad drops Boltzmann with a beautiful combination! Boltzmann stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Cozad is looking for the KO!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cozad walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Boltzmann drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Cozad swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Boltzmann's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Cozad!
After winning the bout, Mike Cozad thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
