Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anakin Osborne (ranked 1501 p4p, 3414 weight class) and Arthur Mitchell (ranked 187 p4p, 365 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Osborne might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Anakin's Dark Deeds - John Williams. Mitchell has chosen I Think We're Alone Now as his entrance music. Arthur Mitchell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick from Mitchell, right into the meat of the thigh.
Osborne throws a lazy right hand but Mitchell sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Osborne lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Osborne throws out a loose jab but Mitchell uses good head movement to avoid it.
It seemed like Mitchell was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Mitchell moves into range and clinches up with Osborne.
Mitchell jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Osborne walks away with a smile on his face. Mitchell gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mitchell will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Osborne, as that shot connected.
Osborne is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Mitchell's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Osborne's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mitchell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Osborne scrambles back to his feet.
Osborne does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Osborne takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Osborne looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Mitchell jumps guard but Osborne turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Osborne drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mitchell manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Osborne has Mitchell in his guard.

Arthur Mitchell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mitchell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
