Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ben Dover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eduardo Carvalho!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Dover with that takedown attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Carvalho. No joy for Dover on that attempt.
Dover shoots in looking for a takedown. Carvalho tries to sprawl out of it but Dover keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Carvalho manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Dover. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carvalho gets a takedown into half guard.
Dover pushes Carvalho off but Carvalho dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dover is looking to reverse the position.
Carvalho misses with the ground and pound.

Carvalho swings around for an armbar but Dover sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Carvalho's guard.

Dover definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dover might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Carvalho preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Carvalho has momentary wrist control but Dover slips an elbow through the middle.
Dover trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Carvalho escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dover gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Carvalho is trying to keep Dover in close.
Dover trying to control the position from guard on top but Carvalho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dover with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Carvalho takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Dover lands a few punches from side control.
Dover creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Dover in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Carvalho looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Dover turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
