The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slaissi throws a body shot but no joy.
Giggs was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Slaissi misses with a combination
and Giggs counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Slaissi misses the jab.
Giggs is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Slaissi with a body shot.
Giggs bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Giggs looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Giggs motions for Slaissi to come forward. Giggs throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slaissi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Giggs moves away.
Giggs flicks out a counter leg kick but Slaissi steps away.
Slaissi lands a nice shot that snaps Giggs's head back.
It looks like Rondayus Giggs has been cut.

and Slaissi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Slaissi walks into a left hand.
Slaissi throws a jab when Giggs was well out of range.

Giggs feints a counter leg kick.
Slaissi throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Giggs counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Giggs uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Slaissi.
Giggs doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Slaissi misses with a lunging right hand
and Giggs counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Slaissi lands with a hook. Giggs tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Slaissi misses with a low kick as Giggs jumps back.

Slaissi scores with a jab to the body.
Slaissi throws a shot from downtown. Giggs moves away and avoids it.
Slaissi throws a hook but Giggs avoids it easily.
Slaissi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Giggs at a distance.

Giggs uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Slaissi.
Giggs let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Slaissi throws an overhand right that lands on Giggs's shoulder, as Giggs tries to avoid the shot.
Giggs flicks out a counter leg kick but Slaissi steps away.
Kimbo Slaissi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slaissi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Giggs's head.
Giggs slips a straight right by Slaissi.

Giggs misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Slaissi counters with a crisp right hand that drops Giggs! Slaissi lets Giggs back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Giggs is rocked!
That has opened up Rondayus Giggs's cut even more.
Slaissi is looking to land body kicks.
Giggs is still on wobbly legs! Can Slaissi finish him?
Slaissi connects with a stiff jab that staggers Giggs - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
