Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roy Hunter (ranked 2829 p4p, 25064 weight class) and Cecirio Lightning (ranked 308 p4p, 454 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roy Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cecirio Lightning!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lightning to score with a decent uppercut.
We've been told by Hunter's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Hunter avoids the body shot from Lightning.
Hunter throws a body punch but Lightning moves out of range.
Lightning moves into the clinch.
A short uppercut from Lightning.
Hunter misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lightning.
Hunter makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Lightning throws a punch but it's blocked by Hunter.
A hook to the body from Lightning.
Hunter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lightning takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hunter thuds a left hand into Lightning's body.
Hunter is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lightning.
And Lightning tries to counter it with a takedown but Hunter pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Hunter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lightning manages to avoid it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lightning walks into a straight right hand from Hunter.
Hunter fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lightning clobbers Hunter with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hunter swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hunter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lightning manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lightning feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hunters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hunter closes the distance and pushes Lightning back into the ropes.
Lightning throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hunters head.
Hunter missing with knees to the body.
Hunter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lightning with a nice cross.
Lightning has managed to clinch.
Lightning lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Lightning misses with a short punch on the inside.
Lightning pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Hunter would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Hunter gets to his feet. Lightning looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Lightning pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lightning cracks Hunter with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hunter is rocked!
Hunter is aggressively charging in as Lightning backs up avoiding any damage. Lightning tosses out a jab and Hunter runs right into it face first! Hunter is out cold! Lightning dropped down on all fours and is barking in Hunter's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cecirio Lightning!
Our winner, Cecirio Lightning, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
