Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Harrison Rose!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose throws a poor cross that misses
and Adaev counters with a three punch combo that has Rose backing up. Rose nods at Adaev to acknowledge the strikes.
Adaev moves away from the strike by Rose.
Rose swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Adaev shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rose defends it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slow jab from Rose misses its intended target.
Adaev lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Adaev looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rose stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rose wants it to stay on the feet.

Adaev closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rose's guard.

Rose wants to stand but Adaev has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Adaev wants to improve his position but Rose is controlling well.
It looks like Rose is going to stand back up.
Adaev is looking to control Rose's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Adaev avoid being mounted?

Rose decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Adaev shoots in for a takedown but Rose shows good takedown defense.
Rose throws a hook but Adaev avoids it easily.
Rose throws a looping overhand right but Adaev ducks down to avoid it.

and Rose counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Rose misses the shot to the body.
Adaev fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rose avoids it really well and circles away.

Adaev looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Rose has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Adaev is on him like a limpet, forcing Rose back against the ropes.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Rose creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Adaev tries to break free but Rose pushes him back against the ropes.

Rose breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Adaev goes for a double leg but Rose avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Rose continues to drive forward.
Rose tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Rose is working Adaev over against the ropes.
Rose misses with a hook from the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Adaev has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rose is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Rose throws a head punch that misses.
Rose leaning his opponent against the ropes.

Adaev successfully pulls guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Adaev wants to stand and escape but Rose is having none of it.

Adaev looking for subs off his back but Rose has passed one foot through into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Adaev looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Harrison Rose is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Rose stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Adaev gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Rose to counter with a crisp jab.
A punch lands to the side of Adaev 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Rose throws an overhand right that lands on Adaev's shoulder, as Adaev tries to avoid the shot.
Adaev was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Adaev shoots in for a double leg but Rose sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A combination from Rose does no damage.
Ramazan Adaev has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Adaev tries to bum rush Rose with a series of wild strikes but Rose uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rose! But no joy.

And that's the end of the fight!
Harrison Rose comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rose has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
