Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gorath DeeStroy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ruslam Raskmanuv! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raskmanuv gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and DeeStroy counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by DeeStroy. Raskmanuv wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but DeeStroy has him pressed against the ropes. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Raskmanuv has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Raskmanuv has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. DeeStroy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Raskmanuv stops a takedown attempt from DeeStroy.
DeeStroy jumps guard.
DeeStroy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Raskmanuv defends it easily. Raskmanuv stopping the sweep attempt from DeeStroy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. DeeStroy is working hard here to advance position. DeeStroy is trying to keep Raskmanuv in close.

Raskmanuv works over DeeStroy with some ground and pound from guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. DeeStroy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Raskmanuv is one step ahead there. Raskmanuv postures up.
Raskmanuv throwing strikes but missing. Raskmanuv trying to control the position from guard on top but DeeStroy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Raskmanuv really doesn't want to stay on the ground with DeeStroy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. DeeStroy looking to control.
Raskmanuv in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. DeeStroy is trying to keep Raskmanuv in close.
Raskmanuv throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Raskmanuv is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but DeeStroy has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Raskmanuv is looking to defend but DeeStroy has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Raskmanuv! DeeStroy pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Raskmanuv taps out and this one is all over!
