Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tevin Shay (ranked 144 p4p, 80 weight class) and Danny Braxton (ranked 19 p4p, 10 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Danny Braxton enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tevin Shay!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Braxton!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Shay darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Shay slips a jab from Braxton.
Shay is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Braxton tries a head kick but it misses.
Shay closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Braxton quickly recovers to half guard.

Shay uses his free foot to push down on Braxton's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Braxton.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Braxton takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Braxton fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Shay on the side of the head.
A punch lands to the side of Braxton 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Braxton feints and then cracks Shay's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shay down.

Shay bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Shay walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Braxton is pawing at Shay, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Shay's nose. Shay is badly hurt! Braxton pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Shay tries desperately to hold on but Braxton is relentless in his assault! As Shay receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Braxton away and this one is in the books!

During a confident post fight interview, Danny Braxton thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Tevin Shay stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll look back on the film and see what I did wrong. I'll take this L... it's on me.'.
