Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elwyn Donal (ranked 71 p4p, 222 weight class) and Jon Kramer (ranked 13 p4p, 34 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Elwyn Donal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Kramer!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Kramer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
An attempted straight right counter from Donal misses the target.
Kramer shoots in but Donal avoids the takedown attempt easily.
And Donal counters with a quick kick to the body but Kramer blocks it.
Kramer fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Elwyn Donal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Kramer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kramer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Donal's waist but Donal gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kramer off to one side.
Donal was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Kramer shoots in for a double leg but Donal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kramer darts in looking for a takedown but Donal gets double underhooks and turns Kramer into the cage.
Donal throws a big counter combination but Kramer scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Kramer is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Donal pulls him back up using the underhooks.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kramer tries to reverse the position but Donal maintains control.

Donal tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

Kramer bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Donal is pulling down on Kramer's head to control his posture.
Kramer throws an elbow that misses. Donal uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kramer's guard. Nice move by Donal!

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kramer gets control of Donal's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kramer will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Kramer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Donal can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Donal wants to stand but Kramer is controlling his posture from full guard.

Kramer looking for a triangle here. Donal is fighting it but it looks tight! Kramer pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Donal is tapping out - this one is all over!
