Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jean Phillipe LaFleur (ranked 349 p4p, 513 weight class) and Jerome Kyrylo (ranked 51 p4p, 62 weight class). LaFleur comes into the arena with Slaughter in a Grave blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Phillipe LaFleur!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerome Kyrylo!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
A telegraphed right hand from Kyrylo misses the target.
LaFleur bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kyrylo throws a body punch but LaFleur moves out of range.
LaFleur wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kyrylo swings and misses with a shot to the body
enabling LaFleur to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Jerome Kyrylo has been cut.
Kyrylo clobbers LaFleur with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Kyrylo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
LaFleur is looking to counter punch.
Kyrylo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
LaFleur uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kyrylo.
Kyrylo throws a push kick but LaFleur slaps the foot to one side.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kyrylo throws the kick towards the body but LaFleur avoids it.
LaFleur ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
LaFleur moves out of range of the strikes.
Kyrylo lands with a good body shot.

Kyrylo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from LaFleur.
Kyrylo swings for the body but LaFleur moves out of range.
LaFleur swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Kyrylo throws a solid leg kick but LaFleur takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kyrylo.
A counter left hand to the body from LaFleur misses its target.
Kyrylo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with LaFleur, pushing him back against the cage.

LaFleur lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
LaFleur fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kyrylo.
Still in the clinch, LaFleur scores with a nice short uppercut.
LaFleur tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kyrylo's elbow.
LaFleur drops Kyrylo with a big knee straight up the middle! Kyrylo is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Kyrylo is rocked!
Kyrylo misses with a looping right.
As Kyrylo tries to get set, LaFleur tries to push him back and clinch up but Kyrylo manages to avoid the attempt.
Kyrylo is still on wobbly legs! Can LaFleur finish him?
Kyrylo cracks a nice hook into LaFleur's ribs.
Kyrylo seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kyrylo tries to clinch but LaFleur is having none of it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jerome Kyrylo will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jerome Kyrylo's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and LaFleur counters with a crisp right hand that drops Kyrylo! LaFleur lets Kyrylo back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Kyrylo misses the body punch
and LaFleur counters with a nice right hand that sends Kyrylo toppling to the canvas! Kyrylo scrambles and gets back to his feet - can LaFleur finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kyrylo moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Kyrylo tries to clinch but LaFleur moves out of range.
LaFleur seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kyrylo lands a big head kick that sends LaFleur tumbling to the mat! Kyrylo takes a step backwards and waves LaFleur back to his feet - he wants the finish!
LaFleur is rocked!
It looks like Jean Phillipe LaFleur has been cut.
Jerome Kyrylo seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kyrylo throws a lazy right hand but LaFleur sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
LaFleur seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
LaFleur gets tackled into the cage by Kyrylo. Kyrylo maintains the clinch.
Kyrylo lands a body punch.
LaFleur tries to work over Kyrylo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
LaFleur struggles to land a body shot inside as Kyrylo controls his hands.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kyrylo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kyrylo digs a right hand into LaFleur's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on LaFleur's gas tank.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
LaFleur blocks a punch to the side of the head.
LaFleur tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kyrylo's elbow.
Kyrylo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kyrylo circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! LaFleur drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Kyrylo follows LaFleur to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jerome Kyrylo!
