Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kai Chen (ranked 1202 p4p, 1397 weight class) and Nils De Wilde (ranked 101 p4p, 119 weight class). Nils De Wilde will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nils De Wilde!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Steve Montenegro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
De Wilde misses with a straight left.
A telegraphed right hand from Chen misses the target.
Chen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Chen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kai Chen.
Well Chen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Kai Chen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
