Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Brewer (ranked 404 p4p, 580 weight class) and Tomura Shigaraki (ranked 60 p4p, 76 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leroy Brewer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Tomura Shigaraki! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brewer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brewer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Brewer walks into a left hand. Shigaraki works the jab nicely. Shigaraki looks to land a left hand but Brewer moved out of range nicely. Brewer connects with a body shot that sends Shigaraki's belly button to the back. A good leg kick by Shigaraki. Brewer missing with a left hand there. Shigaraki was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Shigaraki jabbing away but nothing is landing. Shigaraki misses with an uppercut. Brewer saw that one coming. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Shigaraki on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Brewer misses with a wild body shot. Shigaraki throws a leg kick but Brewer moved away. Jab by Shigaraki. Brewer fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brewer moves out of range as Shigaraki strikes. A lazy left from Shigaraki finds it's target. Shigaraki lands a really nice looking cross but Brewer seems unphased.

Brewer throws a leg kick but Shigaraki sees it coming and checks it nicely. Shigaraki has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Shigaraki cracks Brewer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Shigaraki throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Brewer was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Brewer pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Shigaraki misses with a low kick. Shigaraki blinks but takes it well. The fighters circling - Shigaraki throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Brewer tried to counter with a leg kick but Shigaraki avoided it. Shigaraki loads up on a big right hand but Brewer slips the punch. Shigaraki throws a jab when Brewer was well out of range. Shigaraki cracks Brewer with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Brewer uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Shigaraki has time to react. Brewer leaves Shigaraki with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Brewer throws a lazy right hand but Shigaraki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Brewer chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Brewer is looking to chop away at Shigaraki's legs. A nice leg kick lands there from Shigaraki. Shigaraki has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Brewer. Brewer takes one on the button. Shigaraki avoids the head kick by Brewer.
Brewer tries to land a front kick but Shigaraki steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Shigaraki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Brewer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shigaraki. A quick step to the side and Brewer tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Brewer tries to land a front kick but Shigaraki steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Shigaraki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Shigaraki shoots in looking for a takedown but Brewer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shigaraki's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. It appears Brewer was looking to counter with a kick there. Shigaraki takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Shigaraki connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Brewer's hands. Brewer gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Shigaraki. Brewer on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Brewer had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Brewer throws a push kick but Shigaraki slaps the foot to one side. Brewer is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Brewer pushes Shigaraki away with a front kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brewer tries to bum rush Shigaraki with a series of wild strikes but Shigaraki uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A little jabbing left from Shigaraki on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Shigaraki misses the jab. Brewer lands a head kick!

and Brewer counters with an inside leg kick. Brewer drops his hands momentarily and Shigaraki takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. That kick from Shigaraki tenderised Brewer's leg. Brewer is trying to keep his angry face on. Shigaraki turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Shigaraki wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Shigaraki stalks Brewer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Brewer's face. Brewer staggers backwards, shaken. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice takedown defense from Brewer. No joy for Shigaraki on that attempt. As Shigaraki backs away, Brewer returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Shigaraki stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Shigaraki with a body punch. A glancing blow. Brewer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Shigaraki. Shigaraki feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brewers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Shigaraki scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Brewer doesn't seem bothered though. Shigaraki takes a swing at Brewer's ribcage but misses. Brewer feinted there with a counter leg kick. Brewer looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Shigaraki has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Brewer. Shigaraki throws a jab when Brewer was well out of range. Shigaraki wants to slow Brewer down by chopping away at his legs. Shigaraki misses with an uppercut. Brewer saw that one coming. That sent Shigaraki stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Brewer scores with a push kick. Shigaraki moves out of range as Brewer throws a body kick.

That's going to take a lot out of Tomura Shigaraki. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Leroy Brewer. Well Shigaraki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
