Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darren Will (ranked 1882 p4p, 1938 weight class) and Ham Burger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Darren Will!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ham Burger!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burger throws a hook but Will avoids it easily.
Will throws a right and a left that both miss.
Will slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Will tests Burger's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Will misses with a looping left.
Darren Will seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burger swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Burger drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Will on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Will tries to get out of the position.
Burger drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Will manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Burger has Will in his guard.
Will has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

A close round but Ham Burger will probably get the nod.
That's time! Will's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Will needs to keep his hands up - Burger had a free shot at his head there.
Will lands a jab to Burger's midsection.
Burger swings for the body but Will moves out of range.
Will looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Burger throws a lazy right hand but Will sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Will throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Burger.
Burger shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Will looks to land a right hand but Burger moved out of range.
Will will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Burger tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Burger takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burger takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Burger throws a jab when Will was well out of range.
Will gets caught flat footed, as Burger shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Burger wants to pass the guard but Will is keeping the position.

Will not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Burger trying to control the position from guard on top but Will is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Burger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Will is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Burger passes into half guard.
Burger wants to free his trapped foot but Will is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Will is in trouble now - Burger has advanced to mount!
Burger trying to control but Will is having none of it.
Burger fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Burger working for a guillotine from mount but Will is in no mood to give up.
Will wants to hold on but Burger pushes him away.
Burger trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Will has given up his back.
Will trying to control the hands but Burger won't let him.
Will is keeping busy.
Burger is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Will defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Will wants to control his opponent's hands but Burger gets his hands free.

Will is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Burger gets his way!

Burger is cranking Will's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Will! He's tightened the choke and Will is tapping out!
