Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between FanDan Django (ranked 792 p4p, 979 weight class) and Nestor Makhno (ranked 104 p4p, 128 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that FanDan Django has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily FanDan Django seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, FanDan Django!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nestor Makhno!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makhno dips to his left and cracks Django with an uppercut!
Nestor Makhno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Makhno throws a shot to the body.
Makhno rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Django moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Django looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Makhno throws out a powerful jab.
Makhno feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Djangos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Makhno jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A little feinted left hand from Django on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Makhno tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Django with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Makhno to score with a decent uppercut.
Makhno has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Makhno scores with a nice right hand.
Makhno throws a hook but Django avoids it easily.
Makhno connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Django's hands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Django has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Django there as he acknowledges the shot.
That kick from Makhno tenderised Django's leg. Django is trying to keep his angry face on.

Django uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Makhno.

Makhno is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Django.
Django swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Makhno connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Makhno rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Django connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Makhno misses with a wild combination.
Django tries to land a front kick but Makhno steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Makhno takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Makhno takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
No joy there for Makhno, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Makhno throws a lazy right hand but Django sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
It looked like Django was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Makhno jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Makhno lands a jab.
A punch combination from Makhno misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Makhno works Django's body with a nice hook.
Makhno lands a leg kick that knocks Django off balance momentarily.
Django checks the leg kick.
Makhno lands a slapping body shot.
Makhno throws a low kick, looking for Django's leg but Django calmly moves out of range.
Makhno waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Django.

And Django counters with a quick kick to the body but Makhno blocks it.
Makhno is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Django had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Good exchange - Makhno coming out on top.
Makhno bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Django's head.
Makhno lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Makhno lands with an uppercut that bounces Django off the cage and back into range.
Django lands a big right hand that sends Makhno crashing to the mat! Django stays standing though and waves Makhno back to his feet!
Makhno is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Django counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
