The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zimmerman connects with a leg kick.
Grunter bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Zimmerman's head backwards.

Zimmerman throws a hook to the side of Grunter's head but Grunter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Grunter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Zimmerman momentarily.

It looked like Zimmerman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rowan Zimmerman's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
