Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Dugout (ranked 3026 p4p, 2742 weight class) and Ugrapurod Makagziadan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makagziadan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by FIGHT FIGHT. Ugrapurod Makagziadan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rufus Dugout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ugrapurod Makagziadan!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dugout drops his hands momentarily and Makagziadan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Dugout throws a leg kick
and Makagziadan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Makagziadan's coach down at Mighty MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Makagziadan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Dugout misses with the body kick
and Makagziadan counters with a stiff right hand.
Dugout thows a leg kick but Makagziadan checks it
and Makagziadan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dugout.

and Makagziadan counters with a nice body shot.

Dugout definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Rufus Dugout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oh Dugout is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Makagziadan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Dugout! Makagziadan lets Dugout back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

and Makagziadan scores with a counter punch that sends Dugout to the canvas! Makagziadan smells blood - he's punishing Dugout with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Dugout has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
