Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hobo Garrincha (ranked 474 p4p, 747 weight class) and Stevie Hanselman (ranked 35 p4p, 65 weight class). Garrincha comes to the cage accompanied by Молодые ветра. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 13 - 3, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hobo Garrincha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stevie Hanselman!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanselman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Garrincha was well out of range. Poor timing from Hanselman.
Hanselman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hanselman scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A swing and a miss from Garrincha.
Garrincha misses with an uppercut.
Hanselman misses with a body shot.
Garrincha keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Hanselman scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hanselman throws an elbow but Garrincha slips to the side and avoids it well.
Garrincha is looking for a sweep.
Hanselman works to advance to full mount. Garrincha defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Garrincha wants to control but Hanselman is having none of it.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Hanselman working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Garrincha is trying to escape the mount.

Garrincha avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hanselman.
Hanselman lands a big elbow.

Garrincha is looking to get to half guard.
Hanselman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Garrincha has his hands clasped together around Hanselman's back. He's all about the action.
Garrincha is pressing down on Hanselman's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Garrincha avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hanselman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Garrincha works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Garrincha seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Garrincha lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Garrincha throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hanselman sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Garrincha ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hanselman moves away.

Garrincha is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hanselman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hanselman's back!

Hanselman controls Garrincha momentarily but Garrincha frees himself.

Hanselman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Garrincha wants to improve his position but Hanselman is controlling well.
Hanselman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Garrincha does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hanselman tries to pass the half guard into mount. Garrincha knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hanselman lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Stevie Hanselman has got the better of the ground game so far.
Garrincha can't do much from the bottom here.
Hanselman wants to control but Garrincha is keeping him busy.
You can see the frustration on Garrincha's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Garrincha tries to bench press Hanselman off him but Hanselman keeps the position.

Stevie Hanselman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hanselman lands a couple of good shots and Garrincha has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

I really don't envy Garrincha right now.

Garrincha is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

You can see the frustration on Garrincha's face� He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Well Hanselman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
