Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bai Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kwame Shikongo!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Shikongo throws a half hearted mid kick.
Li looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Shikongo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A head kick from Shikongo lands but Li takes it in his stride.
Shikongo instigates a clinch.
Li escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shikongo scores with a body shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for Shikongo.
Shikongo connects with a single shot there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice body punch from Shikongo.
Shikongo with a nice calf kick.

Li on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Kwame Shikongo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Li blocks a jab.
Li feinted with a counter takedown.
Shikongo connects with an inside leg kick.
Shikongo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Li has time to react.
The crowd cheers as Shikongo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Li doesn't seem phased though.
Nice straight punches there by Shikongo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Shikongo.
Li is rocked!
Li dodges the punch combination from Shikongo.
Li changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Li looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Shikongo throws a leg kick
and Li counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shikongo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Shikongo keeping moving, preventing Li from controlling successfully.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shikongo can do anything to dispel that myth.

Shikongo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Li can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Shikongo digs a good hook to Li's body.
Shikongo delivers a nice body kick.
Shikongo throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Li has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Shikongo.
Li is breathing heavily.
Shikongo drops Li with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Li looks back up at him and smiles so Shikongo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Li is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Li walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Shikongo! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
