Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duncan Farquharson (ranked 405 p4p, 273 weight class) and Clint River (ranked 52 p4p, 35 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Duncan Farquharson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clint River !
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
River thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Farquharson if he has to take too many more of those.
Farquharson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
River throws a body punch but Farquharson moves out of range.
Farquharson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from River .
Farquharson feinted with a counter takedown.
River lands with an uppercut that bounces Farquharson off the cage and back into range.

River throws a leg kick that is checked
and Farquharson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in River 's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Farquharson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
River can't keep his opponent in guard - Farquharson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Farquharson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The ground and pound from Farquharson seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Clint River comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
