Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Deane (ranked 964 p4p, 1177 weight class) and Martin Drop (ranked 47 p4p, 56 weight class). Deane comes to the cage accompanied by Cinderella Man. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Calvin Deane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Martin Drop!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drop loads up on a big right hand but Deane slips the punch.
Deane changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Deane scores with the left hand. Drop knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Martin Drop has been cut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Drop.
Deane takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Deane throws the left hand but Drop avoids the punch easily.
Drop walks into a straight right hand from Deane.
Deane bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Drop! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Drop is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Deane distracts Drop with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Deane trying to control but Drop is working from the bottom.
Drop working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Deane.
We've been hearing that Deane has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Deane connects with a couple of short punches.
Drop is pulling down on Deane's head to control his posture.
Deane stands up over Drop, holding on to his feet. Deane throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Drop is out cold! Deane lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Calvin Deane!
