The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doyle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Franco was well out of range. Poor timing from Doyle.
Franco throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Franco connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Franco throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Franco tries a head kick but it misses.
Doyle throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
As Doyle looks to move away, Franco throws a big counter combo but Doyle just gets out of the way.
Doyle lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Franco fails to land with a series of punches.
Franco throws a head kick but Doyle moves out of range.
Doyle looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Doyle loads up on a big right hand but Franco slips the punch.

and Doyle counters with a nice right hand that sends Franco toppling to the canvas! Franco scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Doyle finish him?!

Oh Franco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Franco uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Doyle.
Doyle throws a jab but it's blocked by Franco.

Franco seems to have got his legs back now.
Doyle looks to land a left hand but Franco moved out of range nicely.
It looked like Franco was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Juan David Franco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
