Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Jones (ranked 1510 p4p, 1308 weight class) and Duane Souza (ranked 146 p4p, 133 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Duane Souza!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Jones does no damage.

Souza has hold of Jones's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jones manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Jones looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Souza working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Souza is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Souza has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Souza's legs - danger averted.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Souza tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Souza manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee is taking a good look at Jones as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Souza!

Duane Souza comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Souza has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
