Martell has chosen I Pledge Allegiance (Nate Dogg ft. Pharoahe Monch) as his entrance music. Quentain Martell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Halkias finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Martell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Halkias throws a big counter combination but Martell scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Halkias connects with a body shot that sends Martell's belly button to the back.
Martell shoots and misses
and Halkias counters with a straight right hand.
Halkias fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Martell manages to avoid it.
Halkias misses with a low kick as Martell jumps back.
A head kick by Martell misses
and Halkias counters with a stiff right hand.
Halkias moves out of range as Martell strikes.
Martell lands a jab-cross combination.
Halkias looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Halkias lands a lovely overhand right.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Halkias throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Martell throws out a counter right but Halkias avoids it with no problem.
Halkias tries to close the distance and clinch up but Martell swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Halkias misses with a body shot.
Martell has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Halkias finds it's way round the side to connect with Martell's head.
Halkias throws a lazy uppercut
and Martell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Halkias throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Halkias swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A head kick misses from Martell.
Martell takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Halkias misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Martell.
Martell avoids the body shot from Halkias.
Martell swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Halkias lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A jab lands there for Halkias.

A looping hook to the body misses from Halkias. Martell does a little dance to reset his feet.
Halkias cracks a nice hook into Martell's ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Halkias fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Martell misses with an uppercut
and Halkias cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Martell takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Halkias defending well as Martell loads up on a big left hand.
Martell looks to land a body kick but Halkias moved away.
Martell walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Stavros Halkias is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Martell ducks right into an uppercut from Halkias.

Halkias misses the jab.
Martell counters with a body kick.
Halkias fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Martell manages to avoid it.
Martell lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Halkias just misses with a punch to the body.
Martell misses with a hook. Halkias ducked under it nicely.
Halkias looks to throw the jab but Martell is out of range.

Martell lands a big right hand that sends Halkias crashing to the mat! Martell stays standing though and waves Halkias back to his feet!

It looks like Stavros Halkias has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Halkias looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Halkias closes the distance but Martell moves to the side
and Martell counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Halkias badly! He tries to strike back but Martell puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Halkias out cold! Oh man, Halkias will never hear the end of this one!
