Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Byron Wilkins (ranked 4554 p4p, 4509 weight class) and Ruan Zousa (ranked 254 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruan Zousa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Byron Wilkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ruan Zousa!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins misses with a body kick.
Zousa checks a low kick from Wilkins.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Zousa is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Wilkins to keep the fight standing.
Wilkins looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Zousa breaks the clinch.
Wilkins tried to score with a low kick but Zousa checks it.
Zousa tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zousa steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Wilkins. That one must have hurt.
Wilkins gets caught flat footed, as Zousa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Zousa working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Wilkins's head.
Zousa stays in close to Wilkins's body and controls the position.

Zousa passes into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Zousa passes into side control, despite Wilkins's attempt to control the position.
Wilkins trying to remain calm as Zousa controls from the top position.
Wilkins on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Wilkins might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Zousa taking a breather here.
Zousa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wilkins pushes Zousa away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Zousa gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Zousa is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Wilkins looks calm but he's in trouble here. Zousa gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Wilkins is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Zousa lets go of the hold and Wilkins can pop his arm back in it's socket.
