Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Junior Barbosa (ranked 2006 p4p, 3802 weight class) and Temirbek Yuldashev (ranked 248 p4p, 391 weight class). Yuldashev comes into a darkened arena with his song building. My Heart Is Cold kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuldashev tries to close the distance and clinch but Barbosa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Barbosa misses with a hook.

Barbosa tries to clinch there but Yuldashev circles away.
Barbosa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Yuldashev.
Yuldashev throws out a counter right but Barbosa avoids it with no problem.
Yuldashev lands a high kick!
Barbosa takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Barbosa has Yuldashev up against the ropes in a clinch.

Barbosa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Barbosa tries to clinch but Yuldashev is having none of it.
Barbosa has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tran MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Barbosa looks to land a combination but Yuldashev avoids it well.

Temirbek Yuldashev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barbosa scores with a big combo that sends Yuldashev crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Yuldashev flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Barbosa jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.
