Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanovic looks to score with a jab to the body but Nomura is just out of range.
Ivanovic misses with a wild body shot.
Nomura doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nomura has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Ivanovic throws out a loose jab but Nomura uses good head movement to avoid it.

Nomura closes the distance and clinches up with Ivanovic, looking for a takedown. Nomura pushes Ivanovic against the cage but Ivanovic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nomura tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ivanovic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nomura somewhat.

Nomura darts in looking for a takedown but Ivanovic gets double underhooks and turns Nomura into the cage.

Nomura shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nomura is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Ivanovic kicks off Nomura and gets to his feet.
Ivanovic goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Nomura throws out a counter right but Ivanovic avoids it with no problem.
Ivor Ivanovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ivanovic scores with a hook to the body. Nomura takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Nomura gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Ivanovic points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Nomura wakes up just in time to hear Ivanovic thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

An out of breath Ivor Ivanovic thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
