The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forrester Jr throws a nice looking combination but Mnusk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mnusk throws out a counter right but Forrester Jr avoids it with no problem.
Forrester Jr has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Thomas Forrester Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Forrester Jr ducks under a wild hook from Mnusk.
It looked like Forrester Jr was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Forrester Jr misses with a series of wild punches.

and Mnusk counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Forrester Jr fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Mnusk on the side of the head.

Forrester Jr throws a lazy right hand but Mnusk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Forrester Jr misses with a series of wild punches.

Mnusk blocks a jab.
Mnusk fakes the body blow, causing Forrester Jr to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Forrester Jr goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
