The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nimoy slips under a jab.
Nimoy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nimoy connects with a right hand. Minoru Ii shakes it off.
Minoru Ii slips under a jab.
Minoru Ii moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Minoru Ii throws a lazy uppercut
and Nimoy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Minoru Ii looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Minoru Ii scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nimoy doesn't seem bothered though.
Nimoy misses with a hook to the body
and Minoru Ii counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Minoru Ii throws a poor cross that misses
and Nimoy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Minoru Ii misses with a straight right.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Nimoy! But no joy.
Minoru Ii takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nimoy takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Minoru Ii looks to land a left hand but Nimoy moved out of range nicely.
Nimoy walks into a stiff left hand from Minoru Ii.
Nimoy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Minoru Ii was well out of range. Poor timing from Nimoy.
Minoru Ii is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Minoru Ii uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nimoy.
Nimoy scores with a jab to the body.

and Minoru Ii counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nimoy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Minoru Ii throws out the jab.
Minoru Ii tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nimoy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nimoy let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Nimoy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A little feinted left hand from Minoru Ii on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nimoy. Minoru Ii does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Minoru Ii connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Minoru Ii scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

It looks like Leonard Nimoy has been cut.
Minoru Ii knocks out Nimoy with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Minoru Ii before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Minoru Ii picks up the big W with a huge KO!
