Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kangaroo Jack (ranked 1587 p4p, 1058 weight class) and Kirill Berkut (ranked 126 p4p, 84 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berkut throws a good cross that connects.
Decent striking displayed by Berkut there.
Jack avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jack moves forwards but Berkut connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Berkut shoots and misses
and Berkut takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Berkut takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Berkut scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Kirill Berkut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slapping leg kick lands for Jack.

Jack gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jack is wriggling around but Berkut manages to pass to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jack is looking to escape.
Jack knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Berkut on the ground.

Berkut seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Jack is rocked!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Berkut connects with a nice short shot to Jack's temple.
Oh Jack is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Berkut is looking to take a break and control but Jack is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Berkut has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Jack's coaches at House of 1000 Corpses have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Berkut working over Jack with some ground and pound. Jack looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Berkut controlling the position here and throwing strikes from the top. Nice elbow lands there... and another... and another... oh, Jack is out! Berkut gets to his feet and admires his work - nice finish!
