And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose tries to close the distance and clinch up but Madzarov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rose lands with a shot to the body.
Madzarov misses the body punch

and Rose holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Rose.
Madzarov landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Rose looks winded!
Madzarov lands a left hand.
Madzarov lands a nice uppercut.

Madzarov breaks from the clinch.
Madzarov throws a quick inside leg kick.
Rose takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Thomas Rose has been cut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Madzarov with a body punch. A glancing blow.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Madzarov looks to score with a jab to the body but Rose is just out of range.
Madzarov works the jab nicely.
Madzarov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rose makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Madzarov throws a sloppy body shot
and Rose counters with a good low kick that Madzarov was not able to check.
Madzarov throws the left hand but Rose avoids the punch easily.
A nice side step and Rose releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Madzarov throws a poor cross that misses
and Rose counters with a flying knee. Nice.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Madzarov moves away from the strike by Rose.
Rose throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Vasko Madzarov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rose swings widly with a right hand
letting Madzarov counter with a right hand.

That has opened up Thomas Rose's cut even more.
A slow jab from Rose misses its intended target.
Rose has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Madzarov finds it's way round the side to connect with Rose's head.

The cut above Thomas Rose's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Madzarov lands with a right hand.

Thomas Rose's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Madzarov swings widly with a right hand
and Rose cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rose takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Madzarov.
Rose checks a leg kick.
Madzarov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rose looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The fighters circle momentarily. Madzarov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Thomas Rose's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
