Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Kiwi (ranked 560 p4p, 1129 weight class) and Bum Phillips (ranked 70 p4p, 144 weight class). Kiwi comes into the arena with Reaper blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Kiwi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bum Phillips!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kiwi pinned against the cage. Kiwi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Phillips throws a poor cross that misses

and Kiwi counters by moving into the clinch.
Kiwi tries a body shot but Phillips blocks it.
Kiwi fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Phillips has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kiwi.
Kiwi pushes Phillips back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kiwi lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Kiwi lands a shoulder strike.
Phillips goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kiwi prevents it.
Kiwi misses with a hook to the ribs.

Kiwi misses with a body punch.
Kiwi tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Phillips avoids it.
Phillips is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bruce Kiwi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bum Phillips.
Kiwi misses with a hook to the ribs.

Kiwi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Phillips gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kiwi counters with a low kick, right behind Phillips 's knee.
Kiwi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kiwi lands a jab to the head.
Phillips tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kiwi lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Phillips throws the left hand but Kiwi avoids the punch easily.
Kiwi is looking to counter the offense by Phillips and move into the clinch.
Phillips misses the jab.
Kiwi lands a jab to the nose.
Kiwi misses with a wild body shot.
Phillips swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kiwi moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Phillips gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kiwi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Phillips tries to keep at a distance but Kiwi has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kiwi can't find room to land a body shot as Phillips controls the action.
Kiwi lands a left hand.
Phillips is looking for a takedown.
Phillips wants a takedown.
A right hook to the body lands for Kiwi.
Kiwi tries to throw a body punch but Phillips avoids it by throwing Kiwi back against the cage.
Phillips takes a shot to the head.
Kiwi misses with a body punch.
Phillips wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kiwi has him pressed against the cage.
Phillips tries for a takedown but Kiwi manages to get underhooks.
Kiwi lands a nice uppercut.

Kiwi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kiwi lands a slapping body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Phillips takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A telegraphed right hand from Kiwi misses the target.
A little jabbing left from Phillips on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kiwi throws a hook to the side of Phillips's head but Phillips sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kiwi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Phillips. That did some damage!
Phillips has his takedown stuffed
and Kiwi counters with a left to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kiwi lands a right hook to the body.
Phillips darts in looking for a takedown but Kiwi gets double underhooks and turns Phillips into the cage.
Kiwi was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Bruce Kiwi dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kiwi lands a left and a right that send Phillips crashing to the mat, dazed. Kiwi thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Phillips is rocked!

It looks like Bum Phillips has been cut.
Phillips tries to get into range but Kiwi steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Phillips! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Kiwi scores the big KO victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bruce Kiwi!
