Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Mesquita (ranked 831 p4p, 2496 weight class) and Terrell Yates (ranked 67 p4p, 171 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mesquita tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yates sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mesquita somewhat.

and Mesquita counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Yates!

Yates sneaks out the side door and pushes Mesquita away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
