And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vasko Madzarov!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madzarov misses with an uppercut. Bozic saw that one coming.
A little feinted left hand from Bozic on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Madzarov moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

and Madzarov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Vasko Madzarov has been cut.
Madzarov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bozic.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bozic looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Bozic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Madzarov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bozic looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Madzarov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Both fighters circling a little - Madzarov finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bozic takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Gabrijel Bozic has been cut.
Bozic drops his hands momentarily and Madzarov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bozic throws a leg kick that is checked
and Madzarov counters with a huge right that knocks Bozic out cold! Madzarov is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

After winning the bout, Vasko Madzarov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
