The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singleton listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Jimmy Nitro has been cut.
Nitro keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Singleton.
Nitro lands a nice leg kick that just misses Singleton's sensitive parts.
Nitro avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nitro pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Nitro waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Singleton.
Singleton cracks a nice hook into Nitro's ribs.
Nitro throws a head kick but Singleton moves out of range.
Nitro throws a chopping leg kick but Singleton manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Singleton tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Singleton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nitro throws a lazy body kick
and Singleton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nitro pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Singleton swings for the body but Nitro moves out of range.
Singleton throws a hook but Nitro avoids it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A low kick from Nitro is predictable there
and Singleton counters with a straight right hand.
Nitro misses with a body kick.
Singleton is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Nitro with a body shot.
Singleton drives through and clinches with Nitro against the cage.
Nitro misses with a short punch on the inside.
Nitro blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Nitro breaks the clinch.
Nitro lands a head kick!
It looks like Tubbs Singleton has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A jab lands there for Singleton.
Nitro misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Singleton counters with a crisp right that sends Nitro to the canvas! Singleton follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tubbs Singleton!
