Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ki Ruyjini (ranked 644 p4p, 872 weight class) and Kwawi Mumba (ranked 102 p4p, 140 weight class). Ruyjini comes to the cage accompanied by 修羅の花 Shura no hana by Meiko Kaji. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kwawi Mumba!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mumba throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ruyjini counters with an outside leg kick.
Mumba misses with a body punch
and Ruyjini counters with a nice body shot.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Mumba takes a swing at Ruyjini's ribcage but misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Ruyjini misses the target.
Mumba misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Ruyjini counters with a nice leg kick.
Mumba misses with an uppercut. Ruyjini saw that one coming.
Ruyjini connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Mumba throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

letting Ruyjini counter with a right hand.
Ruyjini uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mumba has time to react.
Mumba dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Mumba connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ruyjini. Ruyjini circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Mumba drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mumba throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
It looked like Ruyjini was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mumba.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ruyjini misses with a body shot.

Ruyjini was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Ruyjini shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Ruyjini lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mumba will feel that in the morning.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Ruyjini attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Mumba takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ki Ruyjini will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ruyjini connects with a body shot that sends Mumba's belly button to the back.
Mumba lands a right hook to the body.
Nice uppercut lands for Mumba. That snapped Ruyjini's head back.
Ruyjini moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Mumba throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ruyjini makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Mumba throws the left hand but Ruyjini avoids the punch easily.
Ruyjini lands a leg kick that knocks Mumba off balance momentarily.

Mumba throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ruyjini takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ruyjini. Mumba does a little dance to reset his feet.
A little jabbing left from Mumba on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Ki Ruyjini is winning the standup battle so far.
Ruyjini slips under a jab.
Ruyjini quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Mumba throws an overhand right that lands on Ruyjini's shoulder, as Ruyjini tries to avoid the shot.
Ruyjini is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Mumba lands a big uppercut and Ruyjini crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ruyjini looks OK. Mumba waves Ruyjini back to his feet!
Ruyjini is rocked!
Ruyjini glances at the clock... BAM! Mumba nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Ruyjini crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Ruyjini is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kwawi Mumba!
A relieved looking Kwawi Mumba thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
