Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kaengsaklek Sitsongrit (ranked 249 p4p, 783 weight class) and Arturo Ellacuria (ranked 26 p4p, 70 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Arturo Ellacuria was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sitsongrit lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Arturo Ellacuria has been cut.
Ellacuria throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sitsongrit stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ellacuria's coach down at MMA Training and Sparring Buddies was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ellacuria's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Ellacuria is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Ellacuria is trying to maintain a safe position but Sitsongrit gets an underhook and turns Ellacuria into the cage.
