The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mfer scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Mfer throws a jab but it's blocked by Hill.
It seemed like Hill was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Hill blocks a leg kick.
Hill appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Hill throws a leg kick which misses Mfer's front leg but catches the back leg as Mfer tries to avoid it.

Hill scores with a sloppy right hand. Mfer should have avoided that one.

We've been hearing reports that Mfer has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hill tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Mfer avoids it.

Mfer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A slow jab from Mfer misses its intended target.

Mfer takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
It looked like Mfer was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hill.
Hill throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mfer swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Nice jab there from Hill.
Hill fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Mfer on the side of the head.
Hill tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mfer was well out of range. Poor timing from Hill.
It looked like Mfer wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mfer keeps the fight on the outside.
Isopaa Mfer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nice defenses there by Mfer.

Devin Hill dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Hill ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mfer moves away.
Mfer is aggressively charging in as Hill backs up avoiding any damage. Hill tosses out a jab and Mfer runs right into it face first! Mfer is out cold! Hill dropped down on all fours and is barking in Mfer's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

After winning the bout, Devin Hill thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
