Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Francis (ranked 3303 p4p, 3264 weight class) and Rebel Smith (ranked 353 p4p, 350 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Francis drops Smith with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Smith looks back up at him and smiles so Francis waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Francis finish him?
Rebel Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big right from Smith misses.
Francis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smith.
Francis feinted there with a counter leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Francis does a little dance to reset his feet.
Smith seems to have recovered his senses.
Francis connects with a looping right hand.
BOOM! Francis lands a beautiful left hook that drops Smith. Smith tries to recover but Francis is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Smith lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oliver Francis!
Oliver Francis spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
