Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chris Allan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tristan Tofan!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tofan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nice body punch from Allan.
Allan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tofan.
Tofan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Allan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Allan takes a swing at Tofan's ribcage but misses.
Tofan tries to counter with a clinch but Allan shakes him off and moves away.
Tofan throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Allan counters with a stiff right hand.
Allan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Allan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Tofan shoots in and drives through. Allan sprawls well.
A little feinted left hand from Allan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Tofan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Allan but Allan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chris Allan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tristan Tofan.
Tofan looks winded!
Tofan misses with a hook to the body
and Allan counters with a nice uppercut.
Tofan is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Allan is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Tofan flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Tofan is out cold! Allan holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
