Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Mesquita (ranked 720 p4p, 266 weight class) and Worf Mogh (ranked 56 p4p, 21 weight class). Mogh has chosen Gimme The Loot as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Worf Mogh is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mesquita dives in and grabs Mogh's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mogh pushes down on Mesquita's head and hops out.
A little jabbing left from Mogh on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mesquita shoots in but Mogh avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mesquita shoots in for a takedown but Mogh shows good takedown defense.
Mesquita looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugo Mesquita. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mogh throws a jab but it's blocked by Mesquita.

and Mesquita counters by moving into the clinch.

Mesquita's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Mesquita has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mogh clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Mogh looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
I really don't envy Mogh right now.

Can Mogh hold on?! Mesquita is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Mogh looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Mesquita doesn't have the hooks in and Mogh manages to turn into his guard.

Mogh is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Mesquita looking for a guillotine here but Mogh defends easily.

Mesquita working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mogh doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mogh manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Mogh wants to control from the top but Mesquita keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mogh wanted to stand there but Mesquita had control of the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Mesquita controls Mogh momentarily but Mogh frees himself.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Mesquita misses with a wild body shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mesquita.
Mogh looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Mesquita tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mogh sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mesquita somewhat.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mesquita has a takedown stuffed.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Worf Mogh dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Mesquita uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mogh.

Mesquita drops down looking for a counter takedown but Mogh sprawls and moves away.
Mogh throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mesquita takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Worf Mogh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mogh throws a body shot but no joy.
Mogh throws a body punch but Mesquita moves out of range.
Mogh rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Mesquita counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Mogh!

Mesquita swings around for an armbar but Mogh sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mesquita's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mesquita looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Mogh is defending well. Mesquita quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Mogh has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Mesquita celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
