Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dude McWrestler (ranked 177 p4p, 181 weight class) and Carter Wright (ranked 22 p4p, 23 weight class). McWrestler comes to the cage accompanied by Acclaimed Emotions. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McWrestler misses with a hook.

We've been informed that Wright has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round but I would say that Dude McWrestler will probably get the nod.

McWrestler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wright does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
McWrestler looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wright with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Wright does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
