Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve Fish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manus Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy avoids the head kick by Fish.
Murphy closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Fish throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Murphy feints the counter takedown.
Fish stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fish wants it to stay on the feet.

Fish stuffs the takedown.
Fish catches Murphy with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Murphy throws a right hand that Fish ducks under and follows up with a left that Fish also avoids with ease.

Fish escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Murphy shoots in looking for a takedown. Fish tries to sprawl out of it but Murphy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fish manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fish throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Murphy clinches.
Murphy tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Fish lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Fish's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fish lands a leg kick that knocks Murphy off balance momentarily.

Murphy moves into the clinch successfully.
Fish prevents the takedown attempt.
Fish doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Murphy misses with the head strike.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Steve Fish will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Fish lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Murphy gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fish.
Murphy lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fish backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Murphy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Murphy throws the kick towards the body but Fish avoids it.
The fighters circle, before Fish throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Murphy's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Fish lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Steve Fish!
Steve Fish decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
In defeat, Manus Murphy stepped up to the mic, saying 'WTF??? How did that happen?'.
