Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Bloodaxe (ranked 248 p4p, 864 weight class) and Juan Corona (ranked 34 p4p, 119 weight class). Corona has chosen Lil Baby, Lil Durk - How It Feels as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Gunnar Bloodaxe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 18 - 3, fighting out of London, Juan Corona!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Chris Dean and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corona misses with a shot to the body
and Bloodaxe counters with a nice uppercut.
Corona scores with a head kick. Bloodaxe tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Corona throws a head kick but Bloodaxe moves out of range.
Corona connects with a high kick.
Bloodaxe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Corona has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Corona is looking to land body kicks.
Bloodaxe throws the left hand but Corona avoids the punch easily.
Bloodaxe throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Bloodaxe cracks Corona with a right hand to the side of the head.
Corona misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Corona takes one on the button.
Corona shoots in and drives through. Bloodaxe sprawls well.
Bloodaxe is looking to counter punch.

Bloodaxe swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bloodaxe scores with a body shot.
Corona throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Corona throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Bloodaxe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Corona misses with a kick to the body.
A head kick by Corona misses
and Bloodaxe counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Juan Corona has been cut.
Corona throws a shot to the body.
Bloodaxe has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Corona shoots in and drives through. Bloodaxe sprawls well.
A looping hook to the body misses from Corona. Bloodaxe does a little dance to reset his feet.

Corona throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Corona closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Corona jumps guard but Bloodaxe turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Gunnar Bloodaxe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Corona.

Bloodaxe breaks the clinch.
No luck for Corona with that takedown attempt.
Corona swings for the body but Bloodaxe moves out of range.
Bloodaxe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Corona throws a sloppy head kick and Bloodaxe moves out of range easily.
Corona defending well as Bloodaxe loads up on a big left hand.
Corona is looking for the big counter here.
Bloodaxe looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Corona tries to score with a low kick but Bloodaxe moves his leg out of the way.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bloodaxe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Corona sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bloodaxe throws a hook but Corona blocks it.
Bloodaxe cracks Corona with a good jab.
Bloodaxe pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bloodaxe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bloodaxe went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Bloodaxe swats away the attempt to clinch by Corona.
Corona is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Corona darts in trying to clinch
and Bloodaxe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Corona throws a sloppy head kick and Bloodaxe moves out of range easily.
Bloodaxe was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Bloodaxe lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Corona at a distance.
A slapping leg kick lands for Corona.
Corona ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bloodaxe throws an off balance right hand
and Corona counters with a three punch combo that has Bloodaxe backing up. Bloodaxe nods at Corona to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bloodaxe uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Corona.
We've been informed that Corona has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Bloodaxe throws a lazy right hand but Corona sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Corona slips a jab from Bloodaxe.
Bloodaxe lunges at Corona with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Corona's hand.
Bloodaxe rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Corona counters with a big head kick but Bloodaxe shrugs it off.

Corona closes the distance and clinches.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Gunnar Bloodaxe will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Juan Corona's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bloodaxe avoids a kick to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bloodaxe.
Corona throws a head kick that misses.
Bloodaxe takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Corona throws a sloppy head kick
and Bloodaxe counters with a stiff right hand.
Corona wants to clinch up but Bloodaxe keeps it at a distance.
Bloodaxe seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A slapping body kick lands there for Corona.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bloodaxe cracks Corona with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Corona looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bloodaxe finish him?

Corona is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bloodaxe lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Gunnar Bloodaxe seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Juan Corona spoke after the fight, saying 'Wow! He is more badass than I thought.'.
