Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dill Nickle (ranked 923 p4p, 882 weight class) and Sun Lutang (ranked 84 p4p, 76 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lutang's choice of entrance music: Enter The LuTang. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dill Nickle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Sun Lutang!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Topper Green and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickle wants to clinch
and Lutang counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Lutang throws a head kick that misses.
Nickle shoots and misses
and Lutang cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Dill Nickle has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Lutang as Nickle shoots in.
Lutang swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nickle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lutang paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Nickle has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lutang is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Nickle is trying to trip Lutang. He has hold of a leg but Lutang is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Nickle persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Nickle is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Lutang wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Let's hope that Lutang has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Nickle throws a strike but Lutang rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lutang is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lutang in particular looking to stall.
Nickle wants to control but Lutang is keeping busy.

Lutang takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lutang's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lutang loads up on a big right hand but Nickle slips the punch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Lutang displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nickle.
