Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dez Havok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Tor KillsInWater!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havok looks to score with a jab to the body but KillsInWater is just out of range.
KillsInWater unleashes a big counter combination but Havok bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
KillsInWater pulls out of a head kick attempt.
KillsInWater misses the shot to the body.
Havok throws a counter high kick but KillsInWater was just alert enough to avoid it.

KillsInWater gets a clinch.
KillsInWater stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
KillsInWater misses with a hook to the ribs.

KillsInWater breaks from the clinch.
Havok misses with the combination.
KillsInWater throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
KillsInWater displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Havok throws out the jab.
Havok tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but KillsInWater was well out of range. Poor timing from Havok.
KillsInWater has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Havok is landing a low percentage of strikes.

KillsInWater rushes Havok and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
KillsInWater lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Havok misses with a punch on the inside.
Havok is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. KillsInWater is defending well for now.
Havok throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

KillsInWater pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Havok fails to land with a series of punches.
Havok misses with a double jab

and KillsInWater counters with a single leg into guard. Havok didn't expect that.

That's one minute gone in the round.
KillsInWater seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Let's hope that KillsInWater has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Havok might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Havok throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! KillsInWater escapes and throws Havok's legs to the side, diving into side control!
KillsInWater slows the pace down.
Havok tries to improve position but can't.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

KillsInWater is trying to get an arm triangle but Havok is defending well.
Havok manages to get back to half guard.
KillsInWater is taking a breather. Havok says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from KillsInWater.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Havok looking for submissions off his back.
Havok wants to get back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tor KillsInWater comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well KillsInWater has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
