Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kron Gracie (ranked 2117 p4p, 2018 weight class) and Brock Dredd (ranked 282 p4p, 265 weight class). Dredd comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wake up the Town kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brock Dredd has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kron Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Brock Dredd!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dredd missing with a left hand there. Gracie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've been hearing reports that Gracie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Gracie misses with a hook
and Dredd counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Dredd throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A big left from Gracie misses.
We've been informed that Dredd has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Gracie throws a body shot but no joy.
Dredd gets caught flat footed, as Gracie shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Dredd keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie is nestled in close to Dredd, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Gracie wants to pass to mount but Dredd is defending the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dredd has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though.

Gracie is working for a kimura but Dredd is defending it quite comfortably.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Dredd pulls Gracie in close to prevent any damage.
Dredd manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dredd avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dredd got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dredd has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kron Gracie dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Gracie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
It seemed like Dredd was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Gracie fails with the takedown.
Gracie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kron Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dredd takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A slow jab from Gracie misses its intended target.

Gracie shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Donk. Dredd catches Gracie right on the button with a cross.
Gracie misses with an uppercut. Dredd saw that one coming.
Gracie throws a body punch but Dredd moves out of range.
Dredd doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Dredd scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Brock Dredd seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Gracie takes a swing at Dredd's ribcage but misses.

and Dredd counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Dredd counters with a nice low kick that buckles Gracie's knee momentarily.

Gracie fails to land the takedown.
Dredd drops Gracie with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gracie looks back up at him and smiles so Dredd waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gracie seems to have got his legs back now.
Kron Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie throws a hook to the side of Dredd's head but Dredd sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gracie throws an off balance right hand
and Dredd counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dredd cracks a nice hook into Gracie's ribs.
Dredd with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gracie shoots and misses
and Dredd counters with a stiff right hand.
Dredd connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Gracie out cold! This one is over in a flash!
